DHK Animal Rescue has an opening for one horse. If you would like to surrender your horse, we will need to have an email with your request. In your email, we will need to know the following info: horse's age, health-vet records if any avail, disposition, breed, special needs-(and any other information that will help us to understand what type of home the pet would be best suited for), as well as any training and skills the horse may have that would make it more adoptable to it's new forever home. Please note: we are a rescue and do not board for the public. The horse will be surrendered to DHK Animal Rescue so that we will be able to re-home the pet. Only the actual owner of a pet can legally surrender, and they must be present to sign the surrender contract. The horses at DHK Rescue will be on 5 acres of pasture, with an outdoor shelter, as well as indoor facilities in case of bad weather. I can only take emails pertaining this matter, so please use the email listed to correspond and we will be happy to help.
