The City of Cuba Animal Control Shelter is a city operated department licensed and governed by the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the City of Cuba. The Animal Control Department falls under the umbrella of the Cuba Police Department. The ACOs in Cuba are certified Animal Control Officers through the Missouri Animal Control Association and follow continuing education programs to keep certification training updated. Animal Control responds to all animal related matters, i.e. capture and care of the animals within city limits. Setting and checking traps for wildlife catch and release. Investigation and enforcement of animal violations.
