We are a dedicated team of professionals who have a passion for saving large breed dogs from abuse, neglect and euthanasia. CPR is an all-volunteer, foster-based organization focused on rescuing dogs from high kill shelters in California. Our dogs go directly to loving foster homes where they learn what it’s like to finally live the good life! CPR provides veterinary care, rehabilitation, spay/neuter surgery, training, safety and transportation to the Pacific Northwest for our pups to find their forever homes. We value our volunteers, supporters, adopters, partners and communities. It takes a village!
All of our dogs are in foster homes (in TX, CA, WA, or OR), which means you MUST submit an adoption application if you would like to meet any of them. Meeting the dog prior to adoption is not a requirement if you live in another state. Our Adoption Counselors are trained in helping match up the right dog with the right human(s)! Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by a Connections Pet Rescue Adoption Counselor and you will be contacted. Since we are a 100% volunteer based organization, please realize this can take some time. Patience is appreciated!
