Second Chance Kitties are stray, barn, and (formerly) feral cats and kittens who are brought into us by kind-hearted members of the community. Instead of living a hard existence in the Maine wilderness - facing long and brutally cold winters, potentially exposed to deadly diseases like Rabies and FeLV (feline leukemia), and vying with other animals for limited resources like food and shelter - these kitties are given a second chance at life in a loving home.
All Second Chance Kitties have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for fleas, and dewormed. The adoption fee includes follow-up vaccines and deworming (if needed) through 16 weeks. Applications are required for all potential adopters. Download your application here and e-mail it to csncfoster@gmail.com or fax it to 207-721-8396. Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.
