We are a group of volunteers dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and permanent home for all companion animals. We believe that a world which shows empathy toward animals will show more compassion and tolerance toward each other. Columbus Humane Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization funded through tax-deductible donations, by people like you. We do not operate a sheltering facility. Instead, we recruit foster “parents” who take dogs and cats, puppies and kittens into their private homes until permanent, forever homes are found.
