We are a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. We have no shelter of our own, so we foster all of our animals in our own homes until we can find them loving forever homes. We rescue our animals from the streets of Logansport (and surrounding areas) and from local kill shelters. Our goals are to educate the public about the benefits of spaying and neutering and to create awareness about the consequences of breeding as we continue to save the lives of animals.

Back-Roads Dog Rescue is a not-for-profit all breed dog rescue that was founded in January of 2007. Our mission is to rescue abandoned and mistreated adoptable dogs from local dog pounds and shelters and help them find their new "forever" homes where they will receive the love and respect that each dog truly deserves.
