Our mission is to find permanent, caring homes for the cats and dogs in our care, to reduce the number of unwanted litters by educating the residents of Churchill County on the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering, to rescue adoptable cats and dogs from Fallon Animal Control, and to educate the public on companion animal welfare issues and alternatives to cat and dog surrender.
All pets adopted from CAPS are spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. ADOPTION FEES: Puppies and kittens under 6 months old are $100. Dogs and cats over 6 months old are $80. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Puppies and kittens under 6 months are not adopted to families with children under the age of 5. Cats must be inside only pets. Dogs must have a 6' fence or kennel area while they are outside. Dogs are not be to tied up. The staff makes every attempt to match the right type of dog or cat with the person or family to ensure a successful adoption. All adoptions are legally binding by our adoption contract: The pet must come back to CAPS if for any reason the adoption doesn't work out.
