We are an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the non-lethal control of cats in Rockbridge County, VA. We were instrumental in the spaying and neutering of 650 cats in 2018, bringing our grand total since 2005 to 4642 spays/neuters. In addition Cats Unlimited has found homes for 474 cats and kittens since 2005. So far in 2019, we have financed the spaying/neutering of 112 cats, both at the local vets' offices on our program and on the transports that we sponsored to Angels of Assissi in Roanoke.
So you want to adopt, what next: A member of Cats Unlimited will set up a meeting with you and the cat or kitten you are interested in adopting. An application will be filled out over the phone. Once approved the adopter will sign an adoption contract. A minimum donation of $50 is required at the time of adoption. This donation helps to offset the expense of basic medical care the cat has received through Cats Unlimited. The basic medical care that the cat will have received is spaying/neutering, testing for FIV and Leukemia, rabies and FVRCP/Leukemia vaccinations, deworming and defleaing.
