Cat Around Town Project (CAT) is a non profit, 501c3 cat rescue organization that promotes a cooperative effort to reduce the free roaming cat population in our community through adoption, education and TNR. We strive to focus on the root of the problem. We believe we are proactively controlling overpopulation as its source by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible. All adoptable kittens and any cats are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes and one day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. Join us and help make a difference.
Adopting a cat from CAT is a 4 step process. Filling out the adoption application. Having an interview with a CAT representative. Having a home visit. Finalizing the adoption. The point of all of the steps above is for CAT to ensure that you will have the capability to care for a cat and to help you find the most compatible cat for your needs and means. Our adoption process is in place to help our cats and kittens find their furrever home. Our adoption process includes an adoption contract and an adoption fee. All cats have been spayed or neutered, combo tested, dewormed, microchipped, and had age appropriate vaccinations.
