Carolina Animal Protection Society - Jacksonville Pet Shelter

Carolina Animal Protection Society of Onslow County, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, un-sheltered organization founded in 1977 that exists solely on donations and grants, and the help of our dedicated volunteers. Our goal is to save cats and dogs that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected due to human discord. It's taken a lot of love, hard work, and dedication, but our animals make every day a joy for us! OUR MISSION: Carolina Animal Protection Society of Onslow County, Inc is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering among animals, and extension of humane education.

Adoption Process

A completed application is required as part of the adoption process. It should be noted that a submitted application does not guarantee the adoption of a CAPS cat. There are many factors that must be considered, including a home visit to the future animal's home, before an application can be approved.
