CalPaws K9 Rescue was established in October 2019. We are an all-volunteer non-profit dog rescue focused on saving dogs of all ages and breeds. Our volunteers consist of experienced animal rescuers located across the San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Our mission is to improve and save animal lives by promoting quality care, compassion and education. CalPaws K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization EIN #84-3214784. All donations to this rescue are tax-deductible and are used solely to benefit the dogs in our care.
1. Submit the Adoption Questionnaire and email the completed form to us. You can also fill out the online form. 2. Interview. After we receive your application you'll receive an email from us to set up a time for a phone interview. 3. Home Check. Prior to adoption we will arrange a time to visit at your home. All household members & resident dogs should attend that meeting. 4. Meet the Pet. After your HV and once approved, you'll be able to meet potential matches. All household members & resident dogs should attend the meetings. 5. Sign Adoption Contract. Once you've found your perfect match, you review and sign the adoption contract. 6. Pay Fee. Our adoption fees are $400 for dogs under 12 months, $350 for dogs 1-6 y/o, and $200 for dogs 7 y/o and older. 7. Take the Pet Home. Once you've signed all the paperwork, you can take your new pup home!
