At the Calhoun County Animal Center we work with Calhoun County and the city of Battle Creek to find good homes for all types of dogs and cats that have made their way to our facility. With extensive education, a large clean facility, and a passion for animals, you can be sure that we take exceptional care of our adored animal friends. Make a loving addition to your home today! We are a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization and all donations made to the shelter are tax deductible.
The adoption process is easy. Just go online to our section of PetFinder and browse our current list of always updating animals. Stop in and see your new furry friend any Monday through Friday 11:30am to 6pm. When you decide you want to adopt, simply fill out an adoption application and upon approval you will receive the Adoption Agreement, Receipt form, and a microchip registration to fill out. If your new companion has not been spayed or neutered yet, we will schedule an appointment for a later date.
