Cache Humane Society has been helping animals in Cache Valley for over 40 years! We were established in 1976 by local animal-lovers who fostered animals in their own homes, barns, and garages. After much fundraising, hard work and community support, we opened a new shelter in 2008. We have expanded into a 5,000 square foot facility, with dedicated space for education programs, meeting space for potential adopters, and an outdoor play park for our shelter animals. As we've grown, we expanded our family of animal-lovers to include over 30 staff and hundreds of volunteers.
Stop by Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, or Saturday, noon to 5 PM to meet with our animals. You will be asked to fill out an adoption questionnaire upon arrival. Fill one out prior to your visit by printing them out here and bringing it with you. Dog Questionnaire/ Cat Questionnaire. If you have other dogs, we encourage you to bring them with you to meet potential furry family members. If you are a renter, please bring proof that you can have pets where you live. If you are not in a position to adopt, we reserve the right not to bring any animals out of their kennels for meet-and-greets. This is to prevent stress on the animal.
