The Bullock County Humane Society was incorporated in 2000 and is a 501(c)(3) organization. We are a dedicated group of local volunteers who's mission is to provide a shelter and to find homes for the stray, abandoned and owner surrendered pets in our community, lead the way in promotion of responsible pet ownership and to educate our community on the benefits having their pets spayed/neutered. We are active in our community and proudly promote our organization by participating in community events.
Our adoption fee varies depending on the type of animal. Current adoption fees range from $65-$95. This includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations and rabies if old enough. All pets are spayed or neutered before leaving our facility and for those that are too young for the service at the time of adoption, arrangements will be made and a follow up will be done with the new owners. We are located in Union Springs, Alabama, just a short drive from Montgomery, Troy or Auburn. We require the completion of an adoption application and contract and we will be happy to mail one to you upon request.
