We are a group of people passionate about the Australian Cattle Dog breed. We have backgrounds in veterinary medicine (and have a veterinarian as a board member) and the pet care industry. We have many years of combined rescue experience. We understand that cattle dogs are a unique breed and as such, frequently end up in shelters due to lack of knowledge by the public on how to deal with and train the breed. A lot of what we do is education about the breed. We offer support, training advice and up-to-date information about veterinary needs of the dogs. We do what we do simply because we love the breed and know that every dog saved helps.
Interested adopters request and fill out an application. Veterinary and personal references are done. Adopters agree to keep dog on heartworm and flea/tick preventative and provide all necessary veterinary care, including vaccinations unless a veterinarian says otherwise. We charge a $250 adoption fee. All dogs adopted out will have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, heartworm and tick-borne disease tested and treated if positive, fully vaccinated, crate trained, socialized and fully evaluated for temperament.

Paw Crazy was born on April 20, 2015, when five women who rescue animals on their own, decided to come together as a team. Paw Crazy is dedicated to the rescue and adoption of unwanted pets ensuring vaccinations, spay/neuter a

We do this because we noticed a growing need in our area for small displaced pets to have somewhere to go when they were no longer wanted or lifestyle's changed and the original owner could no longer properly care for them.

As long as there is space and the funds to care for them, we pull from any pound or shelter. We rely on adoption fees and donations to provide for the dogs in rescue. All of our pets, including the pups will b

We are an officially certified 501c3 non profit, foster based animal rescue organization. We continue to do what we can for the animals in need.
