Since August 2010, we are a no-kill shelter on ten acres of land where the cats run freely and play together after they have received all their vaccinations. Dogs must be kept in kennel for their own protection. Located in Powell County, Clay City, Kentucky, we adopt predominately small breed dogs and puppies, whelping mothers and emergency cases. Our rescue facility is a no-kill shelter that is operated by a few dedicated volunteers. Our rescue dogs are exposed to cats and many large and small dogs. All the dogs learn to get along and become well socialized. One of the advantages of having our dogs in private homes is that we have an understanding of their temperament and personalitiy.
