Our Mission: To rescue and re-home unwanted dogs and cats. Our Purpose: To reduce the euthanasia of healthy unwanted animals by finding a forever home and educating the community of the benefits of spaying and neutering to reduce the pet overpopulation. We were formed in December 2013 as a non-profit rescue group. We are a 501(c)3 public charitable organization and all donations for the animals care are tax deductible. EIN#46-4152364 We are a foster based rescue; our pets are fostered in Mississippi. We use foster homes because we do not have a bricks & mortar rescue site yet. We rescue animals thrown out on the sides of roads, or taken to area shelters in the Monroe, Clay, and Lee Counties of North Mississippi. We also adopt to the New England area where there is not an overpopulation of pets. We are not currently set up to adopt to Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
All animals will be spayed / neutered before adoption. They will have received a vet exam, sets of shots current for the age of the animal, de-wormed, given heartworm prevention, given flea/tick control. An adoption application must be filled out before a pet is released to its forever home. These pets are FOSTERED IN MISSISSIPPI and can travel via ground transport after adoption to the New England Area. Local adoptions to the south can also be arranged. Adoptions fees are variable based on many factors such as the animal’s medical status, transport location, age, etc. This is not because we value one pet over another, by using variable fees a fiscal legacy is created for animals with special needs or in our care longer than others.
