Big Sky Ranch/CATNIP Foundation is an animal welfare organization based in Folsom, Louisiana. We provide valuable programs as alternatives to euthanasia to lower the number of animals entering shelters and the ones being killed there. Our mission is "changing the ways we think and feel about living with and caring for animals". Our vision is to create a no-kill, no-shelter community, by increasing community consciousness for the well-being of people, animals, and the planet. We work without agenda, seeking to improve the lives of animals and people through education, cooperation and collaboration.
1. Visit our facility in Folsom or scroll through the online list of available pets; 2. Look around to find one (or more) who seem like a good match; 3. Complete the online Adoption Application; 4. Have a chat with one of our staff members or volunteers; 5. If you haven’t already, visit us in Folsom to meet your new (potential) best friend; 6. If all goes well, sign an Adoption Agreement and pay the adoption fee; 7. Take your new family member home!
