Please fill out our adoption application. We believe that adopting a dog is a commitment to the lifetime of your companion animal. We appreciate your willingness to complete this form so that we can learn more about you, your family and home environment. Because we take pet guardianship very seriously, we will carefully check your references. As a result, we hope that we will be able to place one of our dogs with you. Not every person who applies and desires to adopt a dog, however, will be qualified. One of the biggest differences between our organization and others is that we do a "Foster-to-Adopt" period. This means you can take a dog home and see how they fit into your life. Usually the period is a week. If you decide they're a keeper then we complete the adoption process and transfer all the paperwork to you. If it's not a good fit we just take them back. The adoption fee is $425 for young and adult dogs and $300 for seniors. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care (which includes altering, teeth cleaning if necessary and bloodwork), boarding fees, grooming and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, have all their shots, are microchipped, and freshly groomed. They come with a leash, collar and harness and we transfer all the paperwork to you including the microchip registration information.

We are first and foremost a parrot adoption service. We exist solely to help unwanted or found parrots and, through educational classes and seminars, we hope to dispel many of the myths and misconceptions that are prevalent today. We are also a parrot “rescue” in that we will do everything legally possible to remove a parrot from a harmful situation - but in all honesty, this is something that

This kill rate increases during kitten season for these stray, abandoned or dumped cats and their babies. Add to that the mature and elderly cats that are no longer wanted and, for most of them, a cage at the shelter is their fin
