We believe that no animal should be mistreated, abandoned or neglected. We believe that patience, kindness and love can change everything for a previously homeless pet. We believe that animals can offer extraordinary joy, comfort, and companionship to the people who care for them. And we believe in the collective impact of all who work toward the day when no animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
1. Apply. We are so glad that you want to bring a dog or puppy into your home! In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need to learn more about you. We ask you to submit an adoption application first, so that we can begin this process. 2. Review/ We will review your application as soon as we are able to do so. There is quite a pace to animal rescue, but we still try to do so as quickly as we can! If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for better clarification. 3. Reference Checks. Once your application review is complete, one of our volunteers will reach out to your references. Please only supply the names of individuals who we can connect with readily. We will also reach out to your vet, simply to get a better picture of your pet ownership history to date. 4. Finding Your Pet. Once approved to adopt, we begin to match you to the dog you are interested in, or another who would be a great fit for you. This primarily means reviewing pups currently in our foster care program. We are also open to discussing dogs and puppies in our care that you are specifically interested in adopting.
