  • I cannot say enough about Daria and all the furry lives she saves. We had taken home a puppy to foster-to-adopt and she became sick. Daria gave us her phone number in the paperwork to contact. We live an hour and a half from the shelter. I texted her with my concerns and it just so happened that she was in my town on her day off and graciously offered to pick up the puppy to take her back to the shelter for medical care. She pulled in my driveway with dogs in the back of her pickup truck. On her day off she had taken shelter dogs to the coast for an outing!! I knew in that moment she's an amazing human. She took our puppy back to the shelter for a week and nursed her back to health, getting up every two hours throughout the night to care for her. The facility is clean and beautiful and the animals look healthy and very well cared for. We took our puppy back today for a shot and met a pair of very bonded cats. They are so bonded that they have decided to adopt them both out for the price of one so they can stay together. They are all about the animals and are wonderful, loving people. I wish I could give them more stars and I'm glad we adopted from them. I tell everyone about them and even gave out one of their cards in the grocery store today to a lady who wanted to know where we got our sweet puppy. You can't go wrong with ARK Animal Rescue.
