Arctic Breeds Rescue has been rescuing animals in Utah and the surrounding states for over 20 years. We specialize in rescuing Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes. Many of the dogs we take into rescue are deemed "unadoptable" by shelters or local government and have no other options other than to come to a breed specific rescue who can find them a home where they can be set up to succeed. We are an individual rescue group with a very small network of volunteers and have been on our own for most of our rescue career. We work with local shelters and with the assistance of the National Siberian Husky Rescue. We do not have a centralized public kennel, all dogs in the rescue are spread among our network of volunteer foster homes. Appointments are needed to meet each individual dog. Because we operate primarily via foster homes, our resources and space are limited. We are always looking for volunteers and families willing to foster dogs to help us save more of these wonderful creatures. We are happy to assist in any way we can with the rescue of these beautiful animals.
Download and fill out an adoption application available at www.arcticrescue.com. Upon reviewing your application, and contacting your references/landlord, we will set up a home visit and time for you to meet the dog. You must become an approved adopter prior to being allowed to adopt a dog.
