Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue

Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue is a small group of volunteers who work together to change the lives of every animal that we meet! We believe in educating the public on the importance of spay/neuter, TNR, handling special needs animals, and what to do when they find an orphaned animal. We do presentations to groups wanting to learn more, classes, and other venues. We believe in implementing a TNR program for community cats to reduce the number of homeless animals in shelters and the number of euthanasias done by shelters. We believe in rescuing and rehabilitating animals to get them ready for adoption. Our animals come from owner surrenders, full kill shelters, abandoned on the streets, feral colonies, and neglectful situations.
