Animal Rescue Squad International is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization. Our organization was founded by a group of volunteers, including veterinarians, that have made it their life goal to help support dogs in need. We are run 100% on donations, volunteers and depend on them to continue our mission. Through our international rescue program, we bring dogs from overseas to find suitable homes in the United States by performing extensive measures to make sure that we place the right dog in the right home so that they too can live the American Dream. All adoptable dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, dewormed, micro-chipped and are up-to-date with their vaccines. Meet our founders: Kenneth is the CEO of a start-up company in Silicon Valley and Nikki is an epidemiologist. They met at UC Davis 11 years ago and have been living in Davis, CA since then. They are all UC Davis graduates. Nikki received her master degree in preventive veterinary medicine and PhD in epidemiology from UC Davis. Our staff and office are located in Davis, but our dogs can be adopted in San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles, Seattle, and any areas in California or West Coast.
