We are A.R.L.O. (Animal Rescue League of Okemah), a small group of volunteers in Okemah, Oklahoma dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our area. We are a non-profit, 501c3 rescue. We post pictures of the animals at the local City pound on this page as a service to help reunite them with their owners or find homes for them. The animals at the pound are not in our care and we are not an official City page. One of our first goals is to save as many animals from the local pound as possible. When the resources are there we also assist the community with strays and the over-population in our area. We educate and promote the importance of spaying and neutering. We are only a few concerned citizens hoping to spread the word and be the voice for the animals of Okemah. We are always looking for more volunteers and foster homes.
