Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville was started by two individuals who were rescuing abandoned animals in our community. They wanted to make a difference in the lives of animals by taking care of them until new homes could be found. Others soon wanted to help and our membership has grown! ARF had a dream of building a rescue/adoption sanctuary for abandoned animals which has come true! Those who are never adopted can live out a happy life with others of their own kind with food, water, shelter and love. This dream has become reality with our new facility residing on 18 acres east of Bartlesville. ARF exists by donations from the public and private foundations. We do not receive assistance from the City, State or Federal Government. ARF is staffed mosty by volunteers.
Your adoption application needs to include non-family members as references. Your completed application will be reviewed and references will be checked--including your listed vet reference. If approved, you will be contacted for an appointment to meet our rescues. You will be required to sign an adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee and you can take your new pet home!

Mission: We are here to speak for the ones who can not speak for themselves. To save the lives of dogs that other will not. We pull dogs from kill shelters that would otherwise die. Our mission is to save as many as we can but to place them in the best home possible for the dogs and adopter. We do not want to place a dog in a home where it will not be happy or place a dog with people that we know
