Animal Care Associates is a no-kill, all-volunteer rescue group that was formed in 1998 to serve animals in the greater Lackawanna county area. We are currently recruiting new volunteers for a variety of roles including fostering, cat care, fundraising, and social media. Our goal is to find a loving home for every animal we take into our care. Throughout our adoption process, we do everything we can to help our cats find their FURever homes and to help you find the PURRfect addition to your family. Our knowledgeable volunteers are always willing to provide guidance to ensure both cats and humans are happy with their new family members.

Applications can be returned via email to [email protected] or in person at the designated ACA drop box in the adoption area of PetSmart in Dickson City. We ask for your patience through the application process as we are an all volunteer organization. You will be contacted by an ACA volunteer regarding your application status.
