Animal Care Alliance - Richmond Pet Shelter

Animal Care Alliance is indeed an alliance of organizations, shelters, rescue groups and individuals that care about making the world a better place for animals. We are fortunate to partner with animal welfare organizations from many neighboring counties. Together we share information about animal welfare grant opportunities, the best ways to work with government officials to affect animal friendly ordinance changes and the most cost effective ways to provide medical care for the homeless dogs and cats that we all love so much.

Adoption Process

While we are not a shelter or adoption agency we often have cats and kittens who have been abandoned or lost. Without proper care these cute creatures often get sick. More often than not females end up pregnant and those kittens will be either abandoned or become sick as well. If you are interested in adopting one of our cats or kittens please fill out an Adoption Application. Also, check out the kittens currently in Foster care, they aren't ready to adopt yet, but they will be soon! Below are some of the featured animals we have for Adoption today. If you are interested in Adopting one of our Featured Pets, please give us a call and schedule a time to meet that pet in person. Our adoption fee is $40 for any age cat or kitten. If we have other animals for adoption the adoption fee will be determined by circumstance. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter costs and covers any previous medical costs including vaccinations. Don't forget to fill out your Adoption Application!
