We were established in 2008 in honor of our little four pound Poodle named Bear. Angels Left Behind is proud to be a licensed, non-profit organization and we are 100% volunteer run so all donations go towards caring for and rehabilitating puppy mill and shelter dogs and cats. The majority of the animals that come to Angels Left Behind are from breeders, puppy mills and high kill shelters. Most of them are extremely sick or in immediate danger of being euthanized. Although we wish we could place each and every animal that is found wandering the streets or belongs to an owner that feels forced to give their animal up, it is not within our power to take them in.
How to Apply: Please Complete the Adoption Application. Please Return the Completed Application to angelsleftbehind@yahoo.com. Once your application is received it will be reviewed by our Board of Directors. This involves checking the references you have provided and scheduling a home visit. A home visit involves a rescue volunteer coming to your home and visiting with you. All family members and pets must be present at the time of the visit. Sign the Adoption Contract. Bring them Home!!!
