We are a 501c3 non-profit, all volunteer, foster based organization that rescues dogs in the Northeast Ohio area. We operate on adoption fees, fundraising, and community support. We pull from local animal control and take surrenders as space allows. We will screen our best, to place all dogs in a forever home, not until home, that best meets the individual dogs needs. We operate to protect and improve the lives of dogs who are ill, neglected, or abused. To educate the public on proper veterinarian care to include importance of spay and neuter to control over-population, and provide education on routine medical maintenance/prevention to ensure good health. All dogs are entitled to routine vaccinations as well as heartworm and flea prevention. We will strive to inspire humane treatment and kindness to all domestic pets, as well as a chain free life for all dogs.
All adopters must go through an application process prior to meeting an adoptable dog. The application is designed to provide us the information to best choose a dog for your lifestyle. Each dog we take in is an individual, and will have specific needs. We will be looking for the best home to meet those needs for each dog. Once we receive your completed application, we will notify you that we are processing your application. Following approval, we will schedule meet n greets and/or home visit evaluations. All of our foster dogs are cared for in homes, and started basic obedience and socialization. However, that must be continued once adoption is final. Adopters are not only expected, but required to continue routine veterinary care maintenance and prevention. We strongly encourage you enroll your new dog in basic obedience as this builds bonds and helps you understand dog behavior. All dogs need socialization and training to live a happy and enriched life. Please give them that gift.
