Advocates 4 Animals (A4A) Pet Pantry is a 100% volunteer organization focused on keeping animals with their families during financially difficult times by providing pet food and spay-neuter assistance. In addition to the pet food pantry program, our adoption program cares for pregnant/nursing canine moms and their puppies until they are adopted. All moms and babies in the adoption program are fully vetted, spayed orneutered and micro-chipped. A4A is an official non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and all your donations are tax deductible.
When you see a dog/puppy you are interested in, fill out an Adoption Application and indicate the name of the dog(s) you would like to meet. The Adoption Application is forwarded to the foster family and they will review your application and verify your information, then contact you. At that time, feel free to ask any/all questions you have regarding the dog/puppy. Please allow several days since they usually have several applications to review. If your Adoption Application is approved, the foster family will set up a meet & greet and if you decide to adopt, you will complete the Adoption Contract and then welcome your new family member. We do offer a 7 day trial adoption period. If for any reason the new pet doesn't work out, you may return them to us. Advocates 4 Animals reserves the right to decline any applicant who does not meet our adoption requirements. We do ask that all potential adopters be within (100) miles of St. Louis, Missouri.
