Aaroooo!! Basset Rescue

AaRoooo!! is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, Illinois Department of Agriculture licensed foster home rescue shelter operated solely by volunteers whose primary mission is to rescue and unite basset hounds in need of forever homes with responsible new families. AaRoooo!! will provide veterinary care, support, and shelter for rescued dogs while we search for the right new home. We will treat these animals as our own, with the utmost care and respect making decisions based on compassion for the quality of life they deserve. We will provide any necessary support for the dogs while in the care of their foster home using the dogs’ personality, behavior, and special needs as our guide. We will strive to educate the general public, guardians, and adopters about the basset breed.
