Noah's B'Ark North is a volunteer based 501(c)(3) non-profit local dog rescue dedicated to finding permanent loving homes for unwanted and homeless pets in our community. The dogs that enter into our program come from overcrowded shelters where some suffer from neglect, abuse and abandonment. These animals are given the time they need to rest and recover both emotionally and physically in loving foster homes.
Please fill out our online Adoption Application. Noah's B'ark is an volunteer based Non Profit. Once we recieve your application and or questions one of our volunteers will contact you as soon as they are available to do so. Noah's B'Ark North prefers to limit pet adoptions to residents in the area of Sonoma County or areas resonably close to this county, exceptions may be made for the perfect home! Adoptions are NOT done on first come, first serve, basis. Generally applications are submitted online or are taken during our adoption events. Applicants are selected based upon the best fit of the particular pet's temperament and needs. These pets are not for sale and the decision of where to place them is solely the responsibility of Noah's B'Ark North. We reserve the right to refuse placement of our pets to any individual who does not meet our criteria. We also reserve the right to keep our reasons for refusal confidential within our organization. The welfare of our rescue animals is our top priority. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, vet checked, vaccinated and dewormed prior to placement. There is a grace period of one week for refund of a portion of the adoption fee if the animal should need to be returned to us. Pets adopted through Noah's Bark cannot be sold, traded, given away or disposed of in any way. You are required to sign an "Adoption Contract" indicating that you will return the animals to Noah's B'Ark North if at anytime you are no longer to keep your pet. Although all of our animals are thoroughly evaluated, we cannot guarantee their health or temperament.
