The Oklahoma shelters are overflowing with homeless cats. Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless, abused and abandoned cats through TNR, providing quality care to unwanted cats, promoting the adoption of rescued cats and educating the public of the importance of spaying and neutering. We focus our time and resources on the following strategies: Trap Neuter Release of the local and regional feral cat population; Rescuing cats and kittens from potential euthanasia situations in shelters or off the streets; Adoption of all eligible cats and kittens; Using our barn cat program to help reduce rodent populations; Educating community members of the importance of spaying and neutering. 9 Lives Rescue of Oklahoma is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Because we are an all-volunteer organization every dollar donated goes directly towards the rescue, TNR and rehoming.
