Wholly Cats mission is to rescue, raise and rehome orphan, abandoned or stray kittens. Wholly Cats is a one-person, in home rescue, responding to the most neglected and vulnerable of the cat population and saving lives. Pregnant or nursing stray or feral cats and their litters are also cared for.

The Humane Society’s Mountain Shelter greets and provides care for over 800 animals each year. The Shelter houses and feeds everyone, keeps them in a healthy safe environment and sees to all their medical needs. A few will find their way back to their original owners but most are placed for adoption.
