Our group began in 2010 and is based out of Roswell, GA. We are 100% foster-based, so we rescue throughout the state of GA. We are an all- breed rescue, with a strong focus on Pitbulls and Pit mixes. Over 1 million pitbulls are killed each year in shelters, through no fault of their own. They are often silent victims of over breeding, abuse and poor ownership. These dogs are also subject to unfair Breed-Specific Legislation (BSL), banning them from many communities. We vehemently oppose any Breed-Specific Legislation (BSL), as breeds themselves are not dangerous, but humans who create unfavorable situations that lead to dangerous dogs.
Once your Adoption Application is submitted, please allow 24-72 hours, depending on the day you submit it, for one of our Rescue Ambassadors to contact you. If you received an automated, confirmation email after you submitted your application, that means we received your application. Then, we will REVIEW your application. Our application review includes vet check, reference checks, property ownership verification or landlord approval, and a home visit/check. We take into consideration your history as a responsible pet owner. If dog(s) for which you have applied are not a good fit for you, we will let you know and make some suggestions of other dogs which may work. Upon approval of your application, we will schedule a time to do a Meet & Greet with other pets in your home. The final step is a Home Visit. We don’t inspect your cleanliness per se, but we do make sure it is a safe and appropriate environment for your new furKid!
