Adoption Process

Dog Adoption Procedures: 1. The donation fee required for dogs ranges from $100 to $300 depending on age, breed and veterinary procedures needed. 2. All dogs (including puppies) are already spayed or neutered and vet checked. They have also been vaccinated, dewormed if needed, heartworm tested if old enough and microchipped. Blood panels, dentistry and other tests are done if necessary. 3. Adoption applications are required. 4. A rental agreement verification by the landlord/manager regarding "Pet Regulations" is required. If an owner, property ownership must be verified. 5. Dogs are only adopted to homes with a secured/fenced yard and as indoor dogs. 6. A home visit is required before completion of adoption. 7. Some dogs require pre-paid dog training at the time of the adoption. 8. Pet Network reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone if adoption requirements are not met or if Pet Network feels that the best interests of the animal are not going to be met. 9. Since Pet Network delivers their dogs, adoptions are only done with people residing in Santa Clara County and some surrounding areas. Please check ahead to see if your residence is within the limits.
