Shelters With A Trainer is a non profit organization to help dogs in shelters with problem behaviors to be corrected before they are placed into a new home. Many dogs spend long months in a shelter or end up being euthanized due to the fact that they are not fit to be in a family setting. Shelters With A Trainer will give dogs with behavioral issues a dog leg up in the world, setting them up for success for a happier, healthier, tail wagging life with a loving family home.
Potential adopters must fill out an application. Then the applications will be screened. Interviews are taken and adopters are chosen based off of the ability to meet the needs of the desired pet.
