Special Needs Rescue Services, Inc. is a federally licensed 501(c)3 private foundation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of special needs pets and others that are left behind. All rehomed pets go to private home environments. We take interest in geriatric, abused, handicapped, psychologically damaged, neglected, lost, and otherwise unwanted pets of all types, but primarily dogs and horses. While not all of our pets fall into the special needs categories, many are. If you are looking for a special pet or breed, contact me. If I don't have what you are looking for, it is quite possible that I know another rescuer who does. I will be happy to point you in the right direction. I can also offer advice on pet problems although I am not a veterinarian or professional dog trainer. If you do need those services for your particular situation, I can often recommend credible sources in your area. Remember: RESCUE, don't breed.
