River Bottoms Rescue Inc is a non profit Northern California 501c3 pending Dog, Horse, Cat, Reptile, Bird rescue. We take in abandoned or owner surrendered, shelter, injured, neglected, abused animals on an AVAILABLE SPACE only basis. We focus on getting them medically stable through our local vet, getting them spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed, micro-chipped and back to a healthy state before looking for a permanent loving appropriate home for them. We also on occasion need temporary foster homes. We are a foster based group and do not have a facility at this time for visiting available pets so please email for more info on the pet you are interested in meeting.
We require an application, a meet and greet, a home visit, and references from a vet. Interested adopters will be screened by phone and or email for suitable match making.
