For Michele Miller, Rescue Purrfect’s founder, what started out as a love for animals has blossomed over the years into a passion for saving homeless, unwanted, and abandoned cats and kittens. It was by chance, and later necessity, that Michele was introduced into the world of rescue. While working as a foreclosure appraiser, she saw cats and kittens first hand who were locked in foreclosed homes as well as abandoned outside of properties. They were without food or water, struggling to survive. This led Michele to start Rescue Purrfect. Michele continues to work with various communities in Bucks and Philadelphia counties, as well as surrounding areas. She and others at Rescue Purrfect educate neighborhoods on managing and establishing healthy cat colonies, donate food, and offer no or low cost spay/neuter services. Rescue Purrfect’s goal is two-fold: to adopt our friendly, healthy animals to loving homes, and to ensure established colonies are provided for and are healthy and safe. At Rescue Purrfect, we aim to help cats live happy and healthy lives. We care for homeless and abandoned cats and kittens of varying ages, breeds, needs, and personalities. Our ultimate goal is to find our friends the wonderful homes they deserve; ones where they are cared for and loved unconditionally.
