Parrot Adoption Education Program (paep) - Forest Lake Pet Shelter

We are a volunteer-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located and working in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota established in November of 2000. We are a dedicated group of individuals with one common goal: the welfare of companion parrots and those living in the wild. We work closely with local avian veterinarians to ensure the parrots placed with us are in the best of health. We also work with nationally respected avian behaviorists, Humane Societies and other parrot rescue and adoption services.
