Operation Hood is a non-profit all volunteer organization that works with the community to help control the overpopulation of community cats through our TNR program. We depend on community support for funding to assist with the TNR costs and veterinary care of the cats who were previously rescued from Hood Drive, and currently reside within a safe haven area we refer to as “The Fence." With on going efforts to assist the community with TNR we appreciate any and ALL help given working on TNR efforts that impact and make a difference not only in the lives of the cats but also in our community. Working together we can help control the over population and needless litters of kittens born outdoors that face uncertainties that outdoor life may bring. These are just a few videos of releases from TNR projects that individual's just like you have taken a part in! Together we can do more and make an impact! Join us on our journey to help make a difference in the lives of community cats!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application below. Since we need to ensure the safety of all our cats, here is what can be expected for all applicants: Vet Reference, Personal References, and Home Visit. At the time of adoption, all cats will be up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered. In the event the cat is not old enough for spay/neuter, the adoption contract will not be finalized until the kitten has been spayed/neutered.
