Lionel's Legacy is a 501c3 non-profit San Diego based senior dog rescue and humane education program for elementary school children.
All adoptions begin with a non-binding application, homecheck, and require all members of the adopter’s family (including pets) to come to San Diego to meet the dog. Adopters must arrange to take the dog home with them and foster for a 2 week trial period. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, adopters must agree to make arrangements to transport the animal back to San Diego, CA.
