Katmandu Kats is a local Las Vegas nonprofit cat rescue. For the past 10 years, a small group of volunteers have dedicated their time, money, and resources to improve the lives of the feral cat colony we feed, as well as through rescuing abandoned cats and fostering them until finding their forever homes. We began this mission with well over 200 cats in our colony. Due to our efforts to humanely trap, spay/neuter and vaccinate these cats, we have reduced their numbers to a mere 75. Not all animals trapped in the Katmandu Kats colony are feral. For these previous domestic and discarded pets, we take the time to foster them and work with our local adoption groups to find these cats their new forever homes. Not only do we feed and care for the cats daily including medical expenses, we pride ourselves in giving back to the community we live in by cleaning up the surrounding park where the colony thrives. Our mission is to continue to create a safe environment for these community cats and let them live out their natural life cycle while humanely reducing their numbers by continuing our Trap/Neuter/Release program to prevent any additional population growth. In order to continue our mission, we need your help. We have many ways you can give support. We always need volunteers as well as donations of food for our colony. We have a link to our amazon wishlist for food donations, as well as a GoFundMe page which is dedicated exclusively for medical expenses.
