  • Emails I've sent about my experience with Jamie's Rescue in regards to Finding Sharon, a dog she pulled from shelter and lost 12/07/2021 Email to MDAS: Hello this is Jonathan with Blackheart Trappers, Transport & Rescue. I'm writing to you to voice my concerns with Jamie's Rescue in regards to a dog they pulled on November 30th 2021 PetID# A2298292 Name: Sharon I currently leading to search for Sharon but not because Jamie's Rescue asked for it, its was because multiple members of the rescue community asked me to help. I've spoke with Jaime's Rescue on December 4, to offer my services which the rescue has accepted but what concerns me is the complete lack of action from the rescue to finding Sharon. Her story about Sharon escaping has changed multiple times and the Rescue has stated that Sharon escaped a Foster's home which isn't true because Sharon didn't escape from a foster house she escaped the rescue house so she claims because I decided to visit the rescue so I can start my search from the point Sharon escaped but the rescue denied me investigating the area where she was last seen, in the back of property. The rescue claims she escaped through a opening in fence in front of property but I didn't find evidence of the rescues claims because it isn't possible for the dog to escaped through the front fence because dog would have to get pass a second fence that separates the front yard and back. The property is quite large with alot of overgrowth so dog could be hiding on property but I wasn't able to confirm that the dog wasn't on the property anymore by searching the property and closing off possible points of escaping so this doesn't happen again. The rescue hasn't provided any update on Finding Sharon. Rescue stated that their posted Sharon on all lost websites which I come to find out isn't true either because I checked all the sites and no posts or listing for Sharon. After being denied to search for Sharon on property I decided to speak with neighbors but none ever knew the dog had escaped. I also noticed that there were no flyers put up for Sharon anywhere in a 1 mile radius of the rescue. I will still continue my search for Sharon and put up flyers and post Sharon on all lost dog pages to hopefully get a sighting. I'm a full-time trapper with the experience and equipment to find, trap and return Sharon back to the rescue but the lack of any action from the rescue is making this difficult when it shouldn't be. There have been one to many red flags with this situation. You can contact me via my personal cell 786-###-#### or email. Sincerely, Jonathan Colon Garcia Blackheart Trappers, Transport & Rescue 12/09/22021 REPLY from MDAS: Thank you so much for the information regarding Sharon. Can you follow up with us if she is found? For now, we will look into the rescue. THANK YOU!!! 12/15/2021 Email to MDAS: Hello Director, we're going on 2 weeks that Sharon #A2298292 is still missing without a trace. Since my last email I've listed Sharon on almost every lost/found website and distributed flyers to neighbors in a 5 mile radius of Jaime's Rescue Home located at 13715 NW 2nd Ave, North Miami, FL 33168, I've also spoken with several neighbors with cameras in neighborhood and asked if they could review their footage to find out if one of their cameras spotted Sharon but no unknown dogs were seen on footage. Some neighbors even allowed me to search their properties for any trace of Sharon but found was none. Jaime's Rescue continues not to do anything in regards to finding Sharon. This is very irresponsible on the part of the Rescue to not make any effort to locate her which reflects negatively on Miami-Dade Animal Services to allow Jamie's Rescue to pull dogs from the shelter and not care if they get lost or in this case disappear under suspicious circumstances. Jaime's Rescue has been ignoring her responsibilities as an Animal Rescue Organization with a Rescue Partnership with MDAS which also reflects negatively on Miami-Dade Animal Services. I also have received reports of Jaime's Rescue flipping puppies that she has gotten from MDAS which is a matter I'm still currently investigating and will submit my findings when my investigation is done. I really hope MDAS addresses the situation with Jamie's Rescue because other rescues and members of the rescue community will lose trust in MDAS by allowing a rescue that has lied on multiple occasions about Sharon and hasn't done anything to find Sharon and is suspected of flipping puppies. Jaime's Rescue has in my opinion violated the terms of the Rescue Agreement she signed with Miami-Dade Animal Services which is a breach of contract and that is grounds to have her pull rights revoked. Sincerely, Jonathan Colon Garcia Blackheart Trappers, Transport & Rescue 12/17/2021 Email to MDAS: Hello — I'd like to request the euthanasia records for Jamie Robinson. Thank you. 12/17/2021 Reply from MDAS: Good afternoon, There are no public records responsive to your request. Thank you for the opportunity to assist with this inquiry. 12/17/2021 Reply to MDAS: Good afternoon Ms. Labrada, thank you for prompt response. I just wanted to confirm that Miami-Dade Animal Services doesn't have a public record of the Jamie Robinson delivering animals to the Department's custody for euthanasia or Jamie Robinson authorizing the euthanasia of an animal? 12/17/2021 Reply to MDAS: Good afternoon Chelsea and Jonathan, Thank you for sending this information in. We will work with our Rescue office to review this matter and follow -up. Thanks again,
