J.J. Woofin Paws Rescue Agency specializes in finding you the perfect dog to adopt. We carefully match you with the right animal for you and your family, based on the dog’s breed, temperament, personality, physical needs, and other similar criteria. We primarily rescue and rehome dogs from high kill Los Angeles shelters, as well as animals abandoned or surrendered by their owners. We are a California Public Benefit Corporation which is a 100% volunteer run organization. We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, no-kill rescue organization in Southern California. Our mission is to find loving, forever homes for needy animals who are in danger of euthanasia in city and county kill shelters. Our adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including rabies), dewormed, and microchipped. Each of our rescue dogs are given individual attention from shelter rescue to forever home. At this time we do not adopt animals out of the Southern California area.
We require an adoption application, home check, adoption contract with an ID check and an adoption donation which varies depending on the size, age and breed of the animal.
