We are a city-funded animal shelter that’s been in operation since January 3, 2006. Our Animal Services department consists of three animal control officers, four shelter technicians and one animal services director. We strive to provide quality service, excellent customer service and an invaluable assistance to the animals and citizens in our community.
Find an animal you are interested in at the Hutchinson Animal Shelter?! Fill out an application online to get the process started quickly. Applications are taken on a first come, first serve basis. You must be 18 years of age to apply. Once your application is submitted staff will process the application within a day or two and let you know when you are able to adopt the animal. If you have not met the animal yet we encourage you to come into the shelter for a visit to make sure you are the perfect fit! Please call us with any questions!
