The Humane Society of Davie County (HSDC) is committed to reducing euthanasia in our community through increased adoptions, promoting spay and neuter programs, and providing low-income pet owners with access to our food pantry.
Once you have submitted an application online, our adoptions team will reach out to discuss what comes next. Our team will review your application and discuss details about what you’ll need to prepare for your new addition. We’ll provide you with more information about your new pet and review his/her medical history, vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter surgery, and any other behavioral needs. We’re happy to help answer any questions you may have about training, veterinary care, nutrition, grooming, or anything else related to your new pet. HSDC requires that all adopted animals must be spayed or neutered as a condition of adoption.
