Adoption Process

1. Click here to see our Currently Adoptable Pets. 2. Complete the Adoption Application. As soon as your application is reviewed, you will get a return email. Please allow up to a few days for one of our volunteers to review your application and get back to you. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER AFTER SUBMISSION. 3. Adoption applications are NOT always first come first serve. If we receive multiple approved applications, we have to think about what's best for the animal, and we place them with that in mind. However, if you have an approved application, we will contact you when we have a good match to fit what you're looking for. 4. Once your application is approved we will set up a time to meet and take home your new pet! We are a completely foster based organization - so if you're not meeting one of our kittens/cats at an event we can set up a time for you to meet and hopefully take them home for their trial period. 5. You will need a secure carrier for your companions safe ride home. (We recommend a hard carrier). 6. We can accept cash or card at the time of adoption OR Paypal/Venmo prior to adoption. We can send a contract in advance to be filled out and sent back, or have a copy on hand at the adoption. 7. You will receive their Vet Packet detailing treatments and history while in our care, a coupon for Hollywood Feed, and a Free Office Visit to Ban-field. We suggest establishing your new pet with your vet within seven days of adoption. Any expenses incurred after the animal leaves rescue are your responsibility. The cost we incur preparing our animals for adoption is much more then what we ask for an adoption fee. Feline Adoption Fee's include: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Combo tested negative, Flea Medication, Dewormer, 1st Booster shot, Rabies shot if old enough. Adopting a pet can be a 10-20 year commitment. We want to make sure it's a good fit for everyone, so we do refund adoption fees within the first Seven Days during their Trial Period to make sure it's a good fit. We want everyone to take the time to make sure they are financially ready to take on a new pet. New owners are responsible for all regular vet care going forward including in most cases kittens' second and third booster shots in their set of three. We believe all adopted animals to be in good health , however young kittens are particularly vulnerable to Upper respiratory infections, parasites, and virus's. Stressful situations such as moving homes can suppress their immune system making them more susceptible to illness. We suggest establishing with your Vet within seven days of adoption to ensure the health of your new pet and keeping up to date on vaccinations. When you sign our adoption contract, it is acknowledgement of the contract policies and your agreement to those policies. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason.
